The writing aspect of the event is inspired by the work of the enigmatic Portuguese writer Fernando Pessoa. Pessoa, himself, was many different writers, each with their own biographical background, philosophies, style, and ultimately publications.

Imane El Ghazouani trained in sound healing in 2021, and in 2022 created Energy Wheel with Jared Silvia. Born in Morocco, she moved to the US in 2009 as part of Disney’s International Program. She has a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality & Recreation Marketing Operation, and another in Mechanical Engineering. She has worked in sustainable building commissioning, and currently works in project management. Interested in psychology, neuroscience, harm reduction, community healing, Imane focuses her skills and passions into building community and creating a safe space for self-exploration. Inspired by her first experience at Burning Man in 2019, she returned to the desert in 2022 and volunteered in harm reduction. Imane is also an avid fan of music and arts festivals.

Jared Silvia’s passion for synthesizers and electronic music began when he was a teenager. He founded Energy Wheel alongside Imane El Ghazouani in 2022. Jared has an MFA in Creative Writing from The University of Tampa, and a BA in English from Rollins College. His award winning fiction has been published in Boulevard, Sierra Nevada Review, and Monkeybicycle, amongst other places. He was a Luso American Fellow at the Disquiet International Literary Conference in Lisbon, Portugal in 2013. He is interested in surreal naturalism, the unconscious mind, and the interaction of sound and light. He also runs the Circuit Church electronic music label and event series.

 

 

Tuesday is the bandleader and creative force behind Tuesday Again, an original jazz fusion quartet that plays festivals, events and concerts. Tuesday is a multi percussionist but specialized in the vibraphone as a medium for creating sonic art and performing highly visual music with her band, solo, or with sound healing groups. Tuesday has collaborated with Energy Wheel as part of events at Center Street and Timucua Arts, and adds a unique and captivating layer of melodies and vibrations to the events she participates in.
