The portfolio’s theme, Breaking Boundaries, reflected the creative process, the essence of Atlantic Center’s mission. Join Body Dialogue creator, Janice Stieber Rous to recondition and de-stress your body. This two-part series focuses on the importance of breathing correctly and building more robust health. Drawing on the modalities of Alexander technique, breathing coordination, yoga and mindfulness practices, Janice will guide you into a more expressive and expansive experience of your body. Wednesdays, April 3 and April 10, 2019 | 4 PM - 6 PM. Join Florida Poet Laureate for Volusia County, M.B. McLatchey, in this workshop series where poets will practice techniques for chasing away the censors that tell us what we can say or should say in our poems. Come try your hand at writing as “beginners” again, generating poems that take risks and tell truths. All levels of poets are welcome, from new to advanced. Limited to 15 participants.
