For 34 years, Horsin’ Around has been THE event to enjoy an afternoon with friends in support of the arts! From its innovative beginnings on a horse farm (hence, the name), to its new staging at the Brannon Civic Center with it stunning panoramic view of the Intracoastal Waterway, we invite you to join us! The live and silent auctions provide a great venue to make an investment in a piece of art that you’ll be proud to have in your collection. Plan a getaway with friends to places like Colorado Springs or Vail, or celebrate the 4th of July in New York City or on the Big Island of Hawaii — can’t-be-bought anywhere trips offered during the live auction are our hallmark! Come explore art journaling in this class led by artist/art therapist Laura Bohn. The goal of therapeutic art journaling is to reduce stress and promote relaxation by increasing participants’ ability to play, experiment and gain self-guided insight and understanding of one’s own emotions. Added benefits can include self-growth, discovery, and joy through visual storytelling in a supportive group environment.

A FREE public family event located on Atlantic Center for the Art's main campus. Look forward to a day of storytelling, a take home art project, face painting, and Florida Hospital's CREATION Health Stations, including Heath’s Health Foods Nutritional Trail Mix station, Move Booth – Picture Station, Hydration Station, Blood Pressure Screenings, Lindley’s Foliage and Landscaping Environment Station, and to top it off a live musical performance by Davey Rocker!

Earth Day celebrates the beauty and biodiversity of our planet. The presentation by Dr. Spence will address the beauty and biodiversity of our backyards and urban landscapes. He will talk about the challenges of urban landscaping and how we can be better stewards of the earth.

Come celebrate Earth Day with artist/art therapist Laura Bohn. Intuitive Art Figures (also called Spirit or Healing Art Dolls) have been used in art therapy to help participants reframe their stories to make sense of each stage of life: present, past, or future wishes. We will be using natural and recycled materials as part of Earth Day Awareness.
