Stetson University and Atlantic Center for the Arts continues its local work centered around the environment and are proud to announce a collaborative partnership with the World Forum for Acoustic Ecology (WFAE) to present Listening Pasts – Listening Futures, a convening that marks the 30th anniversary of the founding of WFAE, and the first international conference on environmental sound studies in the U.S. Acoustic ecology, also called soundscape studies, is a discipline studying the relationship, mediated through sound, between human beings and their environment.
