Visualize The Process: A Vision Board Art Journal Workshop

Free, and open to everyone!
Come relax, stretch and breathe into the New Year with your Art Journal. Create a Vision Board page spread with your goals, dreams, gratitude, or mindset for the year. Learn how to list steps in visualizing the process to meet your goals. Whether its a goal of going on vacation, fixing up the home, or work or health related, you can choose how to focus on what is most important to you in the new year. Bring in photocopies, quotes, printables, magazine images of how you would like your year to look like. If you have already begun an art journal, simply start where you are at. If you don’t have any visions of how you want your new year to look you can also create a Gratitude Art Journal. ACA will provide  acrylic paints, aprons, scissors, and brushes. Please bring your own materials if desire.

Laura K. Bohn is a professional artist, art educator and art therapist MAAT. She recently completed her Master’s degree in Art Therapy in December 2014. She has been an art educator for many years and is now an art therapist available for facilitating art and wellness workshops. She has exhibited at the Florida Museum for Women Artists, De Land Museum of Art, IGM gallery in Los Angeles and Wolfe Gallery in De Land, Florida.  Some of the art festivals she has exhibited at includes IMAGES, Mount Dora, Gaspiralla, De Land, and Maitland.  Laura has taught classes and workshops at De Land Museum of Art, Ormond Memorial Museum of Art, The Hub, Casa Montessori School and Children’s House Montessori School, and now shares her talent at Atlantic Center for the Arts leading workshops in expressive arts.
