Atlantic Center for the Arts Pabst Visitor Center & Gallery
Atlantic Center for the Arts presents its prestigious Spirit Enrichment Award honoring Margie Pabst-Steinmetz on November 11. The Spirit Enrichment Award is presented to a person who has made outstanding contributions to a wide variety of human endeavors, who has enhanced and enriched our cultural heritage, and whose continuing accomplishments will be of significance, not only to us, but to future generations as well. Margie, a Trustee of Atlantic Center since 2003, exemplifies a gracious and generous spirit. Her sage advice, practical business savvy, and outstanding philanthropic leadership have benefited not only Atlantic Center for the Arts, but many other organizations. She currently serves on several boards, including the University of Central Florida Foundation, The Cornell Fine Arts Museum at Rollins College, and as Board Chair of the National Center for Creative Aging. Margie and her husband Chuck Steinmetz are also deeply involved with the Dr. Phillips Performing Arts Center. The mission of the Pabst Charitable Foundation for the Arts, established in 2003 with her late husband Mark, is to support the arts in innovative, interdisciplinary initiatives for impact on community. Previous recipients of the Spirit Enrichment Award include Edward Albee, Sam Bell, Frank Hubbard, Ed Harris, Charlotte Everbach, and Jim Pugh.
