Our April event is a community collaboration with Volusia County Public Schools, Stetson University, The Institute for Water and Environmental Resilience, Riverside Conservancy, One Lagoon, Marine Discovery Center, the ShORE Symposium, Friends of Canaveral, the Southeast Volusia Audubon Society, and Volusia County ECHO/Volusia Forever.

Atlantic Center for the Arts is proud to present Speaking with the Land, an interactive and immersive outdoor experience inspired by the environmental legacy of founder, artist and environmentalist Doris ‘Doc’ Leeper. Our main campus encompasses 69 acres of wilderness, which borders the Doris Leeper Spruce Creek Preserve, is known for its biodiversity and beauty and remains a source of inspiration for the arts.

We continue to cultivate the relationship between the arts and environment with Speaking with the Land event series sharing hands-on experiences that allows a greater connection to the land with real-world success stories of hope for a better future.
