Speaking with the Land

June 29, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Are you interested in the environmental legacy of Doc Leeper? Want to help ACA make a difference in our community?
Join ACA for a fun, hands-on, educational activity on the lands surrounding Atlantic Center for the Arts. The ACA main campus encompasses 69 acres of wilderness which borders the Doris Leeper Spruce Creek Preserve. This land remains an inspiration for artists and the community, and is known for its biodiversity and beauty.

In the spirit of Doc Leeper, we continue the “Speaking with the Land” event series with hosts Doug McGinnis (apiarist and ACA Board of Trustees), and Lady Eve (Soundwalk, ACA Soundscape Field Station at Canaveral National Seashore) to share hands-on experiences with the land. We may taste honey! We may smell seasonal blooms! We may listen to the birds! We will definitely gather to share our love of nature and offer an experience that allows a greater connection to the land with real-world success stories of hope for a better future. Fun for all ages!

Guest speakers will join us.
