ACA Soundscape Field Station artists-in-residence, Gordon Hempton and Perri Lynch Howard present an evening of conversation and stories about the sounds and quiet within the environment. The artists will host a candid interview about how the soundscape of Canaveral National Seashore compares with other global soundscapes, and how this coastline has influenced their artistic work. The audience is invited to share in this conversation by interacting with the artists and active listening exercises (accessible for those with hearing loss). This special presentation will be held in the beautiful outdoor amphitheater of Atlantic Center for the Arts that borders Doris Leeper Spruce Creek Preserve. Don’t miss this rare opportunity with two leaders in the conservation of natural quiet.
