About the 17TH Annual NSB Jazz Festival
Marc Monteson Promotions presents the 17th Annual New Smyrna Beach Jazz Festival that will take place September 21-24, 2017 at various beachside and mainland locations including Flagler Avenue, Canal Street Historic District, Third and Atlantic Avenues, Art Center Avenue and the North Causeway.
There will be a Thursday pre-festival concert at The Atlantic Center for the Arts.
The only ticketed event is the kick-off party at Traders (Friday evening). The remaining 24 shows on Saturday and Sunday are free admission.
Tickets for the kick-off party may be purchased on Flagler Avenue at Traders (317) and Janie’s (307 # 102). Other locations are Publix Liquor, 709 3rd Ave. and on Canal Street at Southern Trends Home Furnishings (334).
Thursday, September 21, 2017 Kick-off Concert
Atlantic Center for the Arts, 1414 Arts Center Avenue, Linda Cole and The Greg Parnell Trio will perform from 6 pm – 8 pm in the Joan James Harris Theatre.
There will be a $ 5 donation at the door plus a cash bar.
Friday, September 22, 2017 Kick-off Party
The Festival continues with the kick-off party at Traders, 317 Flagler Avenue, from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm. The Ray Guiser Quartet will provide the music.
Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 the day of the event – includes one trip to the hors d’oeuvres table and one free drink (domestic beer, house wine or house well drink).
Post kick-off show will be at SoNapa Grill, 3406 S. Atlantic Ave. from 8 pm – 10:30 pm.
Saturday, September 23, 2017
From 11:30 am – 10:30 pm there are eleven venues in the Flagler Avenue Historic District.
Jazz After Dark will happen in the downtown Canal Street Historic District on Saturday night with seven shows from 6 pm – 10:30 pm.

There are four shows on Third Avenue and one on the North Causeway from 11:30 am – 8 pm.

Janie’s, 307, # 102 Flagler Avenue. The information poster is $5; suitable for framing poster is $7. Posters, signed by the artist, are $10 & $12 respectively; hats and visors are $15. Janie’s is also the only outlet carrying hats & visors for $15.
T-Shirts are available for $15 at Janie’s, 307 Flagler Avenue; Julie’s Downtown, 231 Canal Street. Long sleeve T-Shirts are available for $20; XXL T-Shirts are $22.
New V-neck women’s shirts are available at both locations for $ 17.
