Intuitive Art Figures for Earth Day

Come celebrate Earth Day creating Intuitive Art Figures from natural and recycled ephemera.  Intuitive Art Figures (also called Spirit or Healing Art Dolls) have been created by artists and used in art therapy to help participants tell their stories by creating a relatable character.

We will be using natural and recycled materials as part of Earth Day Awareness. This is also a fun opportunity to play with natural materials and recycle fabrics, beads or other personal treasures into a work of art on Earth Day. Figures can also represent bravery, wisdom, nature, inner child, goddess, etc.

Participants can bring ephemera, and memorabilia to incorporate into their figures to make them more meaningful. We will be using pre-made clay faces, sticks, fabrics, and moss to create these amazing creations. You are welcome to create your own clay faces.

MANDALA FOR EARTH DAY
Any flowers, shells, and natural elements left over from project can be added to a collaborative Earth Mandala in the front yard to celebrate Earth Day.

Supply fee $30.

Class limited to 12 participants
No experience required. Sign up deadline April 21st.
