IMAGE: Hurricane Charm by Steed Taylor, 2005. Taylor, who recently created a 400-foot-long “Sew and Sew” art installation in New York’s new Garment District was in ACA Residency #102 in March 2003 with Master Dave Hickey. While in New Smyrna Beach, Taylor created “Liar’s Knot” near Atlantic Center for the Arts. He returned in 2005 to create Hurricane Charm with black high-gloss latex located on City Hall Drive in New Smyrna Beach, FL. 44′ x 185′.
