Healing Power of Mindfulness: Women’s Health and Breast Cancer Care

In partnership with AdventHealth, ACA is proud to host its third annual free Women’s Health and Breast Cancer Care event for the community on October 2nd at 5:30PM at the beautiful ACA main campus.
Focusing on the many health benefits of mindfulness, this event is for anyone who wants to learn natural ways to keep their body healthy while providing education on women’s health and breast cancer prevention, treatments and recovery. The evening begins with an outdoor meditation for the senses with ACA’s Community Arts Director, then moving inside the Visitor Center and Gallery to hear from a panel of AdventHealth oncology physicians. A light dinner will be provided, then finishing the event with an expressive arts workshop by Volusia County Poet Laureate, M.B. McLatchey titled How Creative Expression Heals Us: exploring the therapeutic value of creative expression.
