Beginner’s Mind: Chasing the Censors Away When We Write Poems
Wednesdays, April 3 and April 10, 2019 | 4 PM - 6 PM. Join Florida Poet Laureate for Volusia County, M.B. McLatchey, in this workshop series where poets will practice techniques for chasing away the censors that tell us what we can say or should say in our poems. Come try your hand at writing as “beginners” again, generating poems that take risks and tell truths. All levels of poets are welcome, from new to advanced. Limited to 15 participants.
