Music & the Mind: Gift of a Lifetime Choir

Council on Aging 2650 North Dixie Freeway, New Smyrna Beach

2nd & 4th Wednesdays, 11:15 AM - 12:15 PM, NSB Council on Aging, 2650 N. Dixie Frwy., New Smyrna Beach. Led by registered music therapist Vicki Gross, our community choir invites the participation of care partners, caregivers, and anyone wishing to keep their mind healthy and active. You don’t need to carry a tune, we’re interested in having fun, making memories, and expressing our creativity!

Creative Caregiving

Caregiving for a loved one is a journey of joy and difficulty. Join ACA Arts & Wellness ambassadors Vicki Gross (MT-BC) and Ashlee Hughes (MT-BC) as they guide you through creative ways to enhance the quality of your daily routine. Come learn how to connect mind, body and spirit by using the arts as a tool of self-care, social interaction, and lifelong learning. RSVP required, limited to 20 participants per session

Painting for Veterans

Daytona Beach Museum of Arts & Sciences 352 S Nova Rd, Daytona Beach

ACA Arts & Wellness is proud to support this exhibition by offering a workshop with renowned Florida artist, Joseph Palmerio. This is a unique experience designed for veterans to express themselves using paint and canvas. He looks forward to sharing his experience working with veterans, and comments, "All I ask is that they bring their enthusiasm and we will have a fun and exciting painting event." Free for veterans / $90 for non-veterans. Limited to 20 participants.
