Music & the Mind: Gift of a Lifetime Choir

Council on Aging 2650 North Dixie Freeway, New Smyrna Beach

2nd & 4th Wednesdays, 11:15 AM - 12:15 PM, NSB Council on Aging, 2650 N. Dixie Frwy., New Smyrna Beach. Led by registered music therapist Vicki Gross, our community choir invites the participation of care partners, caregivers, and anyone wishing to keep their mind healthy and active. You don’t need to carry a tune, we’re interested in having fun, making memories, and expressing our creativity!

Opera Orlando ​​presents​ “​​Hansel & Gretel ​Into the Woods” at ACA

Opera Orlando presents Engelbert Humperdinck’s Hansel & Gretel. Sung in English, this retelling of the Grimm fairy tale features lush music and charmingly familiar characters. Robin Jensen conducts and Grant Preisser directs this perfect holiday treat for the entire family. Friday, December 14 at 5 PM & 7:30 PM at Atlantic Center for the Arts, 1414 Art Center Ave, New Smyrna Beach. Tickets for ​Hansel & Gretel ​Into the Woods​​ are ​free​​ for youth under 18 years old and $25 for adults.
