“Having participated in Volusia County Select myself over 20 years ago, it was an honor to judge this year’s exhibition,” said Juliana Romnes. “I was impressed by the high caliber work submitted and the variety of mediums and subject matter – from the decorative and functional ceramics, to the imaginative drawings, paintings and photographic prints that ranged from abstract and stylized to the hyper-realistic. The work selected for this exhibition is a testament to the creativity of the students in Volusia county art programs, and the dedication and expertise of their instructors.”

One “Best of Show” award in the amount of $200 will be given; three “Award of Excellence” at $100 each; and 10 “Award of Merit” at $50 each.
