Jules de Balincourt (b. 1972 Paris, France) is a painter currently based in Brooklyn, NY. Solo museum exhibitions include: Kassel Kunstverein (Kassel), Montreal Museum of Fine Arts (Montreal), Fort Worth Modern (Fort Worth), Rochechouart Museum of Contemporary Art (Rochechouart), Espace Louis Vuitton (Hong Kong), and the Mori Art Museum (Tokyo). Gallery exhibitions include: Victoria Miro (London), Galerie Thaddaeus Ropac (Paris and Salzburg), and Deitch Projects (New York). de Balincourt has been included in recent group exhibitions at Mori Art Museum (Tokyo), Brooklyn Museum, and Palais des Beaux-Arts (Paris). His work is part of the permanent collection at Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, Fort Worth Modern, Reggio Emilia (Italy), Los Angeles County Museum of Art, MaRT (Revereto, Italy), and the Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art (Kansas).
