Don’t let the holidays become something you dread. Take steps to prevent the stress and anxiety that can descend at this time of year. Join Michele Benton, certified yoga instructor for a Yin Yoga workshop that focuses on self-care. Learn specific poses and breathing techniques that aid in relaxation to lighten your mood and help you sleep well. Yin Yoga is a slower, specific type of Yoga meant for release, recovery, prevention and healing. Michele will bring a light and fun approach to the workshop. She will offer instruction in Pranayama (basic breathing techniques) and share her knowledge of anatomy, helping participants target the connective tissue around the hips and spine.
