DARDEN RESTAURANTS FOUNDATION FUNDS COMMUNITY PROJECT

Atlantic Center for the Arts was awarded a generous $30,000 grant from Darden Restaurants Foundation in September 2007. This grant funds two programs for teens:

Outreach by Atlantic Center for the Arts’ Community Artist-in-Residence, Lauren Austin, who provides intensive, weekly programs for teens at Oak Ridge High School in Orlando.
A match for the Surdna Foundation’s 2007 grant to initiate a Teen Creative Writing Residency project in 2007-2008.
