Atlantic Center for the Arts is proud to host and sponsor Volusia County Select, an exhibition that showcases the artistic talents of Volusia County high school students.

On May 5th, Atlantic Center for the Arts downtown presented awards to Volusia County High School students at the 27th annual “Volusia County Select” exhibition reception. The artwork will be on display from May 8-25, 2018 at ACA Harris House, 214 S. Riverside Drive, New Smyrna Beach. Ivan Riascos of Atlantic Center for the Arts, juried the exhibit and commented, “All the entries in some way were a combination of being wonderful, beautiful, thought provoking, entertaining, and creative. Very talented and incredible students made the art shown in this exhibition. I fully and sincerely mean it when I say that this talent made the selection process very difficult for me. I would like to say thank you for your courage in displaying your creativity and vulnerability in the art that is on display. I would also like to thank the art teachers of Volusia County, for without their guidance and tutelage this exhibition would not have been possible.”
Awards totaling $1,000 are supported by the Volunteer League of Atlantic Center for the Arts.
